The Fuyong Acrobatics Art Troupe from China has confirmed to participate for the third time in the XII International Circus Summer Festival, CIRCUBA 2013, on July 16-21, in Cuba, the organizers said here Friday. The acrobats of the Chinese troupe from Shenzhen are scheduled to offer three shows in Havana before visiting the central city of Ciego de Avila, where the awards gala and the closing of the event will be held, officials from the promotion department of the National Circus of Cuba said. The Chinese troupe won the Grand Prix in the 2011 and 2012 editions, and its performances are extremely popular amongst Cubans because of their dexterity, speed and precision. The Summer Festival CIRCUBA was created in 1981, and is now attended by performers from Europe, Asia and Latin America.
