Algerian artist, Driss Ouadahi exhibits until 6 January his latest works around the modern town planning in the Lawrie Shabibi Galleries in Dubai (UAE), the organizers said.
Entitled "Inside Zenith", the abstract painter will present, in a solo exhibition, his works which were performed using the techniques of oil painting on canvas or paper combining realism and surrealism to his architectural training.
This exhibition includes themes on "South", "Point of View", "West", , "Circus Day" and "Face to face".
The Algerian artist Driss Ouadahi, won last May the "Leopold Sedar Senghor" grand prize awarded by the Biennial of African Contemporary Art in Dakar (Senegal), "Dak'Art 2014".
Ouadahi who currently resides in Düsseldorf (Germany) was born in 1959 in Casablanca (Morocco) to Algerian parents. He studied fine arts in Algiers before going in the 1980s in Germany where he continued his art studies.
Besides solo exhibitions, he participated in several group exhibitions in Germany, France, Morocco, Portugal and Algeria
