The Lewis Clark University band will visit Luxor at the end of May for a concert at the international conference hall. The band will perform a mixture of north African music and traditional songs, and be accompanied by various international artists. The band is led by Doctor Catherine Fitness and includes great musicians such as Barber Coupland, Eva, White Kair, Kary, and Lordizden. Multiple concerts will also be held in Cairo including one show at the church of Saint George. The concerts have been curated by Hassan Jilany the general manager of tourism and development in Cairo, within the framework of attracting American tourism.
