Heavy to moderate rains fell in the Wilayats of Saham, Al Khabourah and Al Suwaiq in northern Batina causing wadis to flow. The Wilayats of Seeb, Al Musannah, Barka and Wadi al Maawil witness light showers. Meanwhile, the Directorate-General of Meteorology and Air Navigation said in a report yesterday that weather will be partly cloudy in the northern governorates of the Sultanate with chances of intermittent rains and thunder showers in coastal areas along the Sea of Oman, while sunny skies will prevail over the rest of the Sultanate. The sea will remain relatively moderate, with a maximum wave height of 1.5 metres along the coast of Musandam Governorate and one metre in other areas. Temperatures in the Governorate of Muscat range between 29 degrees Celsius and 22 Celsius in the night.
