Bushfire has swept through Albanian Shebenik-Jabllanice National Park -- a protected national park located in Librazhd, east of Albanian central city of Elbasan since Sunday, with fire flames engulfing several hectares of fir trees in the area.
Albanian police confirmed Monday that the blaze started in the area of Qarrishte, a very rugged terrain, which has made it difficult for firefighters to access the scene and contain the flames.
Police are also looking into cause of the blaze in the area, with some suggest it may be suspicious and may be treated as arson.
