Supreme Council for the Environment (SCE) CEO Dr. Mohammed Mubarak bin Dinah, today in Tokyo, met with Japanese Environment Deputy Minister on the sidelines of the GCC-Japanese high-level meetings staged by Japan's Ministry of the Environment.
Bin Dinah said the meeting aimed at strengthening cooperation and benefiting from Japanese expertise in the field of the environment.
He lauded Bahraini-Japanese relations, stressing Bahrain's keenness to further bolster cooperation in the interest of both countries.
The meeting also focused on GCC-Japanese strategic cooperation, waste management and recycling, as well as climate change.
The Japanese minister welcomed cooperation with the GCC countries in the environment area, highlighting his country's interest in broadening cooperation to further enhance bilateral relations.
