Giza Criminal Court adjourned till January 16 the trial of 36 defendants over charges of forming a terrorist group.
The defendants face charges of exploiting the protesters of Rabaa and Nahda sit-in camps and collecting financial donations to buy weapons, ammunition and chemicals necessary for making explosives.
Fourteen defendants are being tried in absentia.
Two of the defendants were the founders of the terrorist group which targeted Christians and churches.
They confessed that they hid the weapons in Rabaa and Nahda sit-in camps and used them to repel police forces while dispersing the two camps.
