A booby-trapped car exploded outside a police camp in Egypt's eastern governorate of Suez, injuring nine people, the Health Ministry said. In a press statement, the ministry said the wounded people are receiving treatment at a nearby hospital. It added that no fatalities were reported in the attack. For his part, Suez Police Commander Khalil Harb said that the explosives-laden car was parking near the camp when it blew off. He noted that the camp walls have been reinforced recently which helped belittle the impact of the blast. A locally-improvised explosive charge blew up in front of a police academy in Ain Shams in Cairo early on Saturday. On Friday, Cairo witnessed at least four bomb explosions, one targeting the city police headquarters. This fiery explosion killed at least six people and inflicted massive damage to the police building and nearby citizens' properties.
