A plane that was carrying Sudan's Vice-President Hasabo Abdel Rahman caught fire at Khartoum airport on Saturday.
No casualties were reported, Sudan Civil Aviation Authority Spokesman Abdel Hafiz Abdel Rehim.
Meanwhile, another plane carrying member of National Congress Party Hamed Momtz and a number of reporters crashed in Al Qadarif state.
No fatalities were reported.
