Fashion Designer Isaac Mizrahi opens up on Bravo's Fashion Queens, about who he thinks is the toughest supermodel to work with.
People reports that in the upcoming episode, set to air May 31, the designer who has worked with almost every model in the business, spills details about his experiences with one of the leggy ladies.
"Well, they all had their sort of difficulties," he said. "I would say Naomi [Campbell] was not the easiest girl to work with."
He pegged the British model as being unreliable. "You would do these long fittings on her, right. I promise you for hours, fitting, and she was very conscientious. I guess if she had fun at the fitting, she liked the clothes, she would show up to the show."
"The day of the show I was a mess backstage," he says. "If she didn't like the clothes, things would end up very differently. Someone would come in advance and say, 'Oh, sorry, Naomi's not coming'."
Although when she did make it on to the catwalk, Mizrahi admits: "She just had to show up and it was perfect."
Over the weekend, the model turned 45-years-old and celebrated her birthday at Cannes. According to the Daily News guests had to pay $1,800 to get on the guest list. Some of the stars who celebrated with the beauty were Leonardo DiCaprio, Mary J. Blige, Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadid.
