Vietnamese Federation of Basketball on Tuesday dispached an email to the relevant Iranian federation to apologize for delay in visa issuance and absence of timely coordination with Iranian Youth Basketball team. The email signed by Negvin Keok Koan, the head of the Federation, reads that a virus defection in the Vietnamese Basketball federation computer system it deleted the Iranian federation’s letters. He expressed formal apology for the incident and added that his federation was afraid of the full system defection, so they deleted all files. The apology email has been forwarded CCs to Asian Basketball Confederation and the General Secretariat of West Asian Basketball Confederation. Vietnam is the host country for Asian Youth basketball championship which is underway in Hanoi.
