The Peruvian attacker has attracted the interest of the Primera Division outfit and could be on the move in the January transfer window.Peru international Jefferson Farfan could leave Schalke in the winter transfer window as Malaga have shown an interest in signing the versatile attacker, La Opinion de Malaga reports.The Primera Division side are looking to bolster their attack in an attempt to close the gap with Barcelona and Real Madrid, and head coach Manuel Pellegrini has earmarked Farfan as the perfect addition.The 26-year-old has a contract with Schalke until the summer of 2012 and the Gelsenkirchen-based club are eager to keep him at the Veltins-Arena.However, the former PSV star has allegedly set his sights on a move abroad, and Schalke could decide to sell in January if he refuses to sign a contract extension.Farfan was heavily linked with a move to Juventus in the summer, but the transfer never materialised.
