The 22-year-old midfielder is keen to start his first competitive match for his new club after his summer loan move from Sampdoria.Inter midfielder Andrea Poli is hoping to make his debut for the San Siro side following his loan move from Sampdoria in the summer. The 22-year-old finally played for his new club in a 2-0 friendly defeat against Swiss side Lugano, and the former Treviso man has said he is looking forward to participating in competitive action again."I haven't been on the pitch since the August 14, and I certainly felt good. I can say that being back on the big pitch is very positive," he told Gazzetta dello Sport."It is incredible to play with these team-mates, it makes you want to train, everything is easier."I hope I can play [against Catania] and I still have a week to work well, but it's the coach who decides at the end of the day."However, Poli recognises that there is still work to do before he is back to full fitness. "It is clear that I must return to top physical condition. I have to do so as soon as possible. I will try to get into shape as soon as possible. I am young, I want to do well and I want to contribute soon."After a poor start to the season, Inter sit 17th in Serie A, but a victory in Sicily would move Claudio Ranieri's men above their opponents.
