Barcelona attacker Lionel Messi has set his sights on the club's all-time goalscoring record, admitting he is eager to etch his name into the Catalan side's record books.Cesar Rodriguez, the current record holder, has scored 235 times for the Camp Nou club, while Messi has netted 192 strikes following his hat-trick in the 5-0 Primera Division win over Atletico Madrid onSaturday."I’m pretty calm about the record. I just take it a game at a time, but obviously I'm very excited about becoming top scorer," Messi told Barca TV."Many years have gone by and it’s still the same player. Hopefully I can beat his statistics. I want to continue breaking records here."The 24-year-old forward made his La Liga debut for Barcelona in October 2004 and scored his first competitive goal for the club against Albacete in May 2005.
