President Lee Myung-bak left for South Africa on Saturday to make a last-minute pitch for South Korea's third straight attempt to bring the Winter Olympics to its alpine town of PyeongChang. The five-day trip to Durban, the first stop in Lee's three-nation African tour, comes days before the International Olympic Committee selects the host city of the 2018 Winter Olympics during a meeting in the South African port city on Wednesday.
