Ludovic Giuly, who is a free agent after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of last season, is currently training with his former club Monaco. However, there is no suggestion that he will be joining the club to help their bid for promotion from Ligue 2. "We are providing him with training facilities," Monaco coach Laurent Banide was quoted as saying by Le Figaro. "He is in the area at the moment and asked if he could come here and keep fit. He is part of the furniture at this club so we couldn't say no." The veteran winger, 35, spent seven years on the books in the principality between 1997 and 2004, winning the Ligue 1 title in 2000 and playing in the Champions League final in 2004. Giuly started his career at Lyon, and later spent three successful years at Barcelona and a season at Roma before moving to PSG in 2008. Giuly has also been capped 17 times by France.
