The Basque-born coach says he is happy with a share of the points at home after his team overcame a 1-0 deficit to lock up the score in their group E encounter.Valencia coach Unai Emery has described his side’s Champions League 1-1 draw with Chelsea as a ‘fair result,’ praising the attitude and cohesion of his players.Chelsea opened their account at the Mestalla in the 56th minute through a Frank Lampard strike but a penalty from Roberto Soldado in the closing stages of the game saw the home side walk away with a share of the points.Speaking to the press after the game, Emery commented: “I'm very happy with how the game went and with the attitude of my players, especially as we were up against a great team.“A draw was a fair result, even more so when you consider the fine performance of our goalkeeper Diego Alves balancing out the good chances we created.“We are happy with a point. However, we will have to improve in front of goal to pick up all three in future.”Valencia will now face German club Bayer Leverkusen in their next Champions League clash on October 19. They face Granada in La Liga this Saturday.
