The Italy international feels that the Turin side cannot afford to let their performance levels drop or their victory over AC Milan will count for nothingJuventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has stressed that the Turin side will have to keep up their current form if they are to be successful this season. They recorded a 2-0 Serie A win over AC Milan at Juventus Stadium last Sunday and currently sit top of the table. But Buffon has voiced his opinion that that victory will prove worthless if their performances drop later in the 2011-12 campaign."Juventus have not yet peaked. We played a great game against Milan, but at the end, what's left? Only three points, plus an injection of confidence," Buffon was quoted as saying by Tuttosport."If we do not play well, we are just a good team without making the leap. "The injured will recover," Buffon added, referring to the relatively poor starts made by Milan and Inter, making it clear that Juventus must maintain their level of play. Buffon is currently preparing to face Serbia and Northern Ireland in Italy's final two Euro 2012 qualifiers. Juventus have a two-week break from Serie A fixtures.
