Sudanese politician Mohamed Ali Al Jazoli of One Nation Current denied what was published over his relation with ISIS extremist group, saying that he has no relation with them. He stressed that such claims come in the framework of media lies to mislead the people.
He revealed that he has not delivered the sermons in the mosque in which he leads prayers upon orders from the security and intelligence authorities of the country. He attacked those people who he described as the seculars in Sudan, saying that there are campaigns aiming to support the secular ideas that are not familiar in our communities.
He stressed that the Arab communities refuse these ideas as they adopt the Islamist project based on the Islamic culture. He added that he attacked Sudanese author Shamael Al Nour, saying that she wrote an article which he described as insulting to the religion. He added that she accused the prayers of failure to build a modern state, saying that she underestimated the religious people in Islamic community.
He added that they do not attack her for her criticism against the government, while for mocking the religious people. He said that the Muslims managed to build the greatest civilizations in the history. He added, “She wrote her opinion in an article and we responded to her so the seculars turned to launch their campaign against us.”
He added, “They do not tolerate our criticism despite their calls for protecting the human rights. They always report our pages on Facebook, while express protest if the security forces turned to confiscate any of their newspapers.”
