Chairperson of International Center for Strategic Studies in Tunisia Badra Faloul submitted a number of proposals to contain the phenomenon of terrorism in the country, saying that the extremist groups use the media networks on internet to polarize a large number of young people to join the terrorist groups.
She added, in an interview with “Arabs Today”, that the Tunisian authorities should take serious measures to contain the threat posed by those returnees from Syria, saying that female suicide bombers committed a number of terrorist operations in different places in the country during the recent months. She expressed her support for the proposals to sentence those women who involve in terrorist operations to death.
She added that the security organization will not witness any notable improvement with serious measures from the Tunisian authorities to achieve reform as soon as possible. She added that the security authorities should form a committee of experts to achieve this objective in the near future.
She said, “We can expect that the country will witness terrorist operations during the coming period, while it is impossible for any expert to expect the place of the coming bombing.” She stressed that the country has known enemies, including ISIS and Qaeda
