In an interview with Oman Daily newspaper, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry asserted that the Egyptian-Omani relations are stable.
He added that the Egyptian and Omani visions are similar in terms of the need to restore stability in the region and settle all crises in the Arab region away from military interference.
Shoukry pointed out that Egypt-Oman ties are good and getting even stronger especially after Egypt has restored its stability after five years, adding that the June 30 revolution came to rectify the situation in Egypt under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
Sisi’s vision over the challenges and issues in the Arab world is similar to that of Sultan Qaboos of Oman, he said.
Shoukry, also, said that the Gulf security is part and parcel of Egypt’s security, adding that the Gulf countries sided with Egypt in the June 30 revolution.
Egypt is keen on continuous joint Arab work to achieve Arab national stability and deter anything that may threaten joint Arab security, he said.
