Executive Manager of Egypt’s National Organization for Hajj and Umrah Ayman Abdel Mawgood said that the Ministry of Social Solidarity put new conditions for those people who will be chosen to supervise the pilgrims during this year, including obtain a high education. He added that they will choose a supervisor for every 45 pilgrims.
He added that they decided to reduce the age of supervisors, saying that those people who meet the conditions could submit their requests to be chosen as supervisors through the electronic website. He added that the priority will be for the candidates who are less than 45 years old.
He clarified that the assemblies are qualified to nominate members aspiring to perform hajj for this year provided that it has been established for two years, while the expensed should not be less than 50 thousand EGP for the last financial year.
He added that they prepare four levels for pilgrimage this year, saying that the price of each level will be determined upon the actual cost of each program. He stressed that Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity Ghada Waly is keen to provide the best conditions to the pilgrims with best prices. He added that the Saudi riyal’s exchange rate will be determined in the four levels
He added that the ministry completed the measures related to hotel reservations, saying that they were keen to choose hotels located in the central area of the Two Cities. He added that they were intending the first level program, as it is considered the highest price, while the ministry received requests from the citizens to take this level.
