Africa 800m champion Zahra Bouras lodged a complaint against persons unknown about "poisoning," after being tested positive for Stanozolol, a banned substance, the Algerian athlete’s coach and father Amar Bouras told APS Saturday. Pending an investigation to be conducted by the ministry of Youths and Sports, the Algerian Athletic federation (FAA) and the Algerian Olympic Committee (COA), Zahra Bouras has filed a complaint against unknown persons about poisoning," Amar Bouras told APS. "Less than a month to go before the start of the London 2012 Olympics, the moral and physical integrity of my athlete has been considerably affected due to the doping scandal," he stressed. "I really didn’t expect my girl to be tested positive, especially as she had decided to compete in Africa championships in Benin without fearing anything." Coach Bouras, who was at Porto-Novo with the athlete when he heard the sad news, said he was totally upset and had difficulty consoling his daughter.
