Juventus have confirmed Italy striker Fabio Quagliarella suffered a fractured cheekbone in his side's win over Lecce this afternoon. The 28-year-old is set to undergo surgery after sustaining the injury to his right cheekbone in the 1-0 Serie A win. Quagliarella was substituted in the 23rd minute of the match. A statement on the Juventus website read: "Fabio Quagliarella has undergone a CT scan at the Vito Fazzi hospital in Lecce, accompanied by club doctor Luca Stefanini. The scan has identified a full fracture of his right cheekbone arch. "The 28-year-old is set to return to Turin with the squad and will remain overnight at the Fornaca clinic where he will be visited by Doctor Libero Tubino and, probably, tomorrow undergo surgery to reduce the fracture."
