FC Barcelona will be without Andrés Iniesta for their UEFA Champions League matchday two encounter against FC BATE Borisov after the midfielder tore a hamstring in the Azulgrana's 2-2 draw with AC Milan. The 27-year-old pulled up 38 minutes into the Group H opener at the Camp Nou as he attempted to outstrip Milan's Ignazio Abate inside the penalty area. Following initial tests on his left leg, it was announced that the Spanish international will be out for around four weeks. The news comes as a further blow to coach Josep Guardiola, who lost Alexis Sánchez for two months when the Chile winger injured a hamstring against Real Sociedad de Fútbol on Saturday. Gerard Piqué also remains sidelined with a calf tear. Barça face BATE at Minsk's Dinamo Stadion on 28 September.
