Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden was dismissed from practice Wednesday after delivering a hard hit on wide receiver Travis Benjamin. Haden appeared upset after he was banished, as did Browns Coach Pat Shurmur, who refused to answer questions about it afterward, CBS Sports reported. "I'm not going to talk about it," Schurmur said. "It's between me and the player. I have great respect for Joe. My only apology is that I used bad language and the fans heard it." Team President Mike Holmgren told WTAM-AM, Cleveland, Haden was dismissed for hitting the rookie wide receiver too hard during the 7-on-7 drills. Holmgren said in the interview it was uncertain when Haden would return, but the cornerback reappeared on the field during an afternoon walk-through session, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer reported. "I talked to Joe," Schumur said after the afternoon session. "Everything's fine. It's a dead issue.''
