Arizona police are investigating Phoenix Suns forward Michael Beasley in connection with an alleged sexual assault at his home earlier this year, the Arizona Republic newspaper reported. There have been no arrests in the incident which is alleged to have taken place at a house on January 13. Police spokesman Dave Pubins said they received a complaint from a woman and he confirmed to the newspaper that there is an investigation involving Beasley, who was the second player taken overall in the 2008 National Basketball Association entry draft. "At this point, we are investigating an allegation into a sex assault charge made against Michael Beasley," Pubins said. "This investigation is ongoing." Beasley, 23, was stopped by police earlier this year for driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle without proper registration after being pulled over for speeding. Beasley averaged 10.1 points per game last season. Meanwhile, the Suns named Ryan McDonough as the club's new general manager. McDonough had been with the Boston Celtics since 2003 in a variety of roles, including assistant general manager. From: AFP
