Ahly striker Dominique Da Silva may miss Tuesday’s Ismaily clash in the seventh matchday of the Egyptian Premiere League due to injury. The Mauritanian hitman has sustained a muscular strain during a friendly match Friday; technical staff are waiting for the medical staff's final decision in the coming hours. “Dominique will undergo medical scans on Sunday to determine if he will catch the Ismaily clash or not,” Ahly’s football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz told the club’s official website Saturday. Despite being absent at today’s training session, playmaker Abdalla El-Saied will be fit for the game with the Dervishes. “El-Saied is suffering from a knock he sustained on Friday’s friendly, but he is ready for Ismaily clash and will return for the training session tomorrow,” added the football director. The Red Devils is already missing the services of Brazilian striker Fabio Junior who will be out of action for two weeks at least after picking up an ankle injury. The Ismaily clash is due to be held behind closed doors as the Reds are punished for fan riots. Ahly, who are eyeing an eighth consecutive league crown, are on top of the table with 14 points, one ahead of second-placed Harras El-Hodoud after six matches.
