Ahli have been ordered to play one game away from home following their fans’ clashes with local police in last week’s cup game with Kima Aswan, the Egyptian FA said. More than 90 people were injured as the Ultras Ahlway fan-group clashed with Police forces after the 4-0 win, mainly because of offensive chants against the Ministry of Interior. A number of Ahli fans were consequently detained, with some of them released on Monday for being considered as minors. The FA also announced that the league holders are obliged to pay the damages caused by their supporters to the Cairo Stadium stands.
