Zanetti is a living legend

The Argentine midfielder has nothing but praise for his illustrious compatriot, and has voiced his opinion that the defender is one of football's great players.Ricardo Alvarez has taken the time to praise team-mate Javier Zanetti, and has described the Inter veteran as a living legend.The 24-year-old midfielder joined Inter from Velez Sarsfield in the summer of 2011, and Zanetti's character has thoroughly impressed Alvarez since his move to the Giuseppe Meazza side."The captain is unlike anything I've ever seen. No one can touch him, he's making history, a living legend," Alvarez was quoted as saying on the official Inter website."If you don't know him, you think he's a magnificent professional but also a serious individual. Then if get the chance to meet him, you realise he really is just as professional as you thought, but as a man, he's very funny. "He knows how to make his friends smile and he always puts you in a good mood, even though he's a world-class player of the sort you rarely see nowadays."Alvarez only recently returned from a two-month injury lay-off in the 2-1 Serie A win over Siena.
