Roger Federer Breezed today into the semi-final of the Australian Open after beating unseeded Mischa Zverev 6-1 7-5 6-2. He will face his compatriot Stan Wawrinka in the semi-final.
It took the tennis legend 92 minutes to reach the semi-final of the competition for the 13th time in his career. He is looking to win his 18th Grand Slam title. The Swiss will be buoyed by the fact that world no.1 Andy Murray and no.2 Novak Djokovic were both knocked out of the competition.
Wawrinka for his part is fresh for beating Jo Wilfred Tsonga 7-6 (7-2) 6-4 6-2. Wawrinka has good memories of the Australian Open, his first Grand Slam title was there in 2014. Along with Federer and Nadal, he is the favorite to win the tournament.
