Nico Rosberg returned to winning ways with victory in the European Grand Prix in Formula One's inaugural race in Azerbaijan.
The Mercedes driver led from pole position to take the chequered flag at the Baku street circuit, 16.696 seconds ahead of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel, with team-mate Lewis Hamilton fifth.
The F1 championship leader had been without a podium finish in the last three races after winning the first four grands prix of the season.
But victory on the new course in Baku for a 19th career win was never in doubt after Rosberg defended his lead from pole as all drivers got cleanly away, dpa reported.
The victory extends his lead over world champion Hamilton in the drivers' standings to 24 points.
