William Gallas could feature in the Tottenham squad for their forthcoming away trip to Wigan after completing 90 minutes in a friendly against Brentford at the Spurs Lodge on Tuesday. Despite a 2-1 defeat to the League One side, Gallas proved instrumental as part of a predominantly youthful eleven. The 34-year-old's welcome return will give greater solidarity to Harry Redknapp's side as they look for their third straight Premier League win on Saturday. The defender subsequently missed the start of the new season after sustaining a calf injury. Having struggled with injury since his move to White Hart Lane the experienced Frenchman made 36 appearances for Spurs last season, captaining the side domestically and in the UEFA Champions League.
