The Mexican pairs Arturo Salazar/Eric Galvez and Samantha Teran/Nayelly Hernandez on Monday won two historic gold medals in squash in the 16th Pan American Games. The four Mexican players are the first four champions of Pan American Games in the events, because it's the first time that double event of squash is included into Pan American Games. In men's division, Galvez and Salazar beat American pair Julian Illinworth and Christopher Gordon. In women's division, Teran and Hernandez defeated Colombia's strong rivals Silvia Angulo and Catalina Pelaez 2-0. The Colombian duo was disappointed because their perspective was to win a gold medal.
