A young Liverpool team were held at home by Plymouth 0-0 in the third round of FA Cup.
The two teams will have to meet in a replay after the Reds reserves failed to break down the league two side. Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp made 10 changes to his team. The hosts dominated possession and chances in the first half but struggled to create clear openings after the break, with the late introductions of Roberto Firmino, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge failing to have the desired effect.
Liverpool's next match will be away to arch-rivals Manchester United. The Reds currently sit second in the Premier League table, five points behind leaders Chelsea.
