Ghana reached the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals on Sunday with a 2-1 win over the Democratic Republic of Congo in Oyem.
Aston Villa's Jordan opened the scoring after 63 minutes of a tight, bruising quarter-final in northern Gabon and Andre put Ghana ahead again from a 78th-minute penalty. Paul-Jose M'Poku equalised for DR Congo with a sensational long-range effort from outside the box.
It marks Ghana's sixth consecutive Nations Cup semi-finals appearance, as they seek to end an agonising 35-year wait for a continental title. Ghana, will play Cameroon next Thursday in Franceville for a final place.
