He will meet fellow Serb Viktor Troicki Thursday. Andy Murray ran his record to 16-0 since the U.S. Open with a 6-2, 6-4 win over French wild card Jeremy Chardy. Murray will play 13th-seeded American Andy Roddick next. Former world No. 1 Roger Federer, who won last weekend in his hometown of Basel, eliminated French wild card Adrian Mannarino 6-2, 6-3. Up next for Federer will be 16th- seeded Frenchman Richard Gasquet. Fourth-seeded world No. 5 Spaniard David Ferrer was a 6-4, 6-4 winner over French qualifier Nicolas Mahut. Seventh-seeded American Mardy Fish breezed by German Florian Mayer 6-1, 6-2 in 56 minutes. Spaniard Feliciano Lopez upset eighth-seeded Frenchman Gael Monfils 6-3, 6-4 and Italian qualifier Andreas Seppi took out ninth-seeded Spaniard Nicolas Almagro 6-3, 7-5. Seppi will go up against sixth-seeded French star Jo-Wilfried Tsonga next. In other action involving seeds, No. 11 Serb Janko Tipsarevic defeated American Alex Bogomolov Jr. 6-1, 6-0, No. 14 Alexandr Dolgopolov of Ukraine defeated German Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-3, 7-6 (8-6) and No. 15 Troicki defeated Ukrainian qualifier Sergiy Stakhovsky 6-4, 6-4. American John Isner eliminated Russian lucky-loser Igor Kunitsyn 6-4, 6-4.
