Defending Brazilian Serie A champions Corinthians on Sunday named former player Cristovao Borges as their new coach.
Borges, 57, replaces Tite, who last week took over from Dunga as coach of Brazil's national team following their group-stage elimination from the Copa America.
"It's confirmed. Cristovao Borges is the new Corinthians manager," Corinthians said on their official Twitter account.
The Sao Paulo club said Borges had agreed to an "initial" 18-month contract, but did not reveal financial details.
As a player, Borges represented Corinthians 58 times in 1986 and 1987 and scored 13 goals
His coaching career has included spells in charge of Vasco da Gama, Bahia, Fluminense, Flamengo and Atletico Paranaense
