Zamalek will play a friendly on Saturday against the Egyptian Petrol Company’s team, PetroJet, at the Movenpick Hotel Stadium in 6th October City. The White Knights hope to use the match as training for their next game, against the Ahli team at the end of the African Champions League on September 16. The Zamalek team which is run by the Portuguese Coach Jorvan Vieira, is attempting to arrange another friendly on September 12. They started training on Wednesday at the Movenpick Hotel Stadium. The PetroJet coach Ramadan el-Sayed, declared he intends to take advantage of the match in order to better prepare his team. The Egyptian League draw took place on Wednesday at the League's headquarters in Cairo, in preparation of its official opening on September 17. The draw marked the scheduling of the first Egyptian matche since the Port Said Massacre on February 1 2012.
