Bangladesh has become the latest country to turn to the UAE for vital assistance to develop a national infrastructure for motor sport.
A team from the Automobile and Touring Club of the UAE has just returned from Dhaka after conducting a three-day training programme on behalf of the Automobile Association of Bangladesh, AAB.
The team of specialists from the ATCUAE's training and education division, the Motorsport Knowledge Institute, instructed officials on key aspects of rally organisation and other grass roots motor sport activities.
Mohammed bin Sulayem, ATCUAE President, said, "Motor sport is in the early stages of development in Bangladesh and we're delivering training which will help the AAB build a solid infrastructure for the organisation and staging of events, with a big emphasis on safety."
