Tarek Al-Ashry resigned on Monday from his post as Harras El-Hodoud manager after spending six years with the military club. ''My resignation is definitive. I am very satisfied with my experience with the club which had several achievements,'' Tarek Al-Ashry told Ahram Online on Monday. El-Ashry, who took the responsibility of Harras El-Hodoud in 2006, helped the club to clinch two national cups in 2009 and 2010, as well as the Egyptian Super Cup in 2009. ''The Egyptian Premier League's cancellation was the main reason which prompted me to resign,'' he added. The Egyptian Premier League was called off since the Port Said disaster on 1 February which left more than 70 killed, while the military club were at the top of the League table.
