Egyptian Olympic team technical staff, under the guidance of coach Hany Ramzy, decided on Monday to omit Ahly's striker Ahmed Shokry from playing with the squad in the anticipated 2012 London Olympics. "After today's investigation, Ramzy has decided to omit the player, as he insulted the technical staff recently in public," the Olympic team director Alaa Abdel-Aziz told Ahram Sport. In recent television declarations, Shokry vented his anger on head coach Ramzy, criticising his techniques and accusing him of being unfair. The young Pharaohs were eliminated last week from a friendly tournament in Toulon on goal difference. At the tournament, the Egyptian team lost the opener 3-0 to the Netherlands, drew with Turkey 1-1 and beat Japan 3-2. From/ahramonline
