Arab National Olympic Committees President, HRH Prince Talal bin Bader Al-Saud, has praised HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa's swimming initiative from Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, which embodies the deep-rooted brotherly relations bonding the two kingdoms under the prosperous reign of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Dubai Sport Council Sec-Gen, Saeed Harib, said that HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad has earned this award which comes in recognition of his swimming achievement as he challenged all weather condition to swim 42 km in 20 hours.
