The Bahrain Royal Equestrians and Endurance Federation (BREEF) continues preparations ahead of the Showjumping Championship on the cup of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA).
The event will take place on Saturday, January 17 on the pitch of Military Sports Union, sponsored by the Belgium-based Platinum Stables.
On this occasion, HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa the Chairman of the BREEF expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support and patronage of this championship hosted in Bahrain as part of the BREEF's efforts aimed at the advancement of showjumping sports in the Kingdom.
"We're optimistically looking forward to the champion and the future of this sport in anticipation of accomplishing more progress and advancement thanks to the leadership's huge support to the sport of the fathers and forefathers. He praised the constant support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Personal Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Honorary President of the BREEF and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee "BOC" who has worked hard in order to advance the equestrians and endurance sport in the Kingdom according to excellent plans which culminated in the Bahraini horsemen's winning top positions during various championships and we in the Federation continue on the same path in order to boost the accomplishments," he stressed.
