The Supreme Council of Youth and Sport (SCYS)'s First Deputy Chairman also the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC)'s President His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa submitted utmost signs of congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and, to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa President of the Supreme Council of Women (SCW), on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain's winning 17 chromatic medallions in Poomsae game and 16 chromatic medallions in croquet game for men and women, winning first position and two cups in croquet and Poomsae games for ladies, as part of the Fifth Gulf Taekwondo and First Poomsae Championships hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain under the kind patronage of His Highness in the period November 7-9.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa also submitted congratulations and blessings to His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) who is considered the prime supporter of the Bahrain Martial Arts Association, for His Highness's directives and support which took a big space in terms of excellence which contributed a lot in the production of the Championship in distinctively organised image which confirms the advanced level of development of Bahraini organisation of grand championships and tournaments.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that the successfulness of the championship adds to the Kingdom's record throughout the years in hosting external championships in the best form, stressing that persistent efforts undertaken by the working committees throughout the championship attest to their keenness on success, affirming the Kingdom's possession of excellent administrative staffs, praising the golden collection of medallions accomplished by the Taekwondo ladies which also indicate the keenness of the Bahrain Martial Arts Association and attentiveness to sportswomen through its programmes of scheduled local activities throughout the year.
