Qatar Swimmers made impressive show of force to win 17 medals on the third day of the prestigious GCC Swimming championship 2014 taking place in Kuwait on Saturday. In Saturday’s events Qatari swimmers confidently won 17 medals, including 4 gold, 7 silver and 6 bronze, where Qatar’s Yagoub Al-Kholaifi sparkled to win two gold medals, Noah Al Kholiafi and Abdulrahman Al- Kawari each of them seized gold medal. Likewise, Qatar’s Omar Hashem and Mohammed Al Obaidan each of them won silver medal , Qatar’s relay team won 4 silver medals , as bronze medals were earned by Abdulrahman Hisahm (2 medals), beside Abdulaziz Al Obaidly, Abdullah Al Yahri, Hassan Al Obaidan and Abdullah Abo Ghazal each of them won one bronze medal. Qatar Swimming Association (QSA) President , Mr. Khaleel Ibrahim Al Jaber lauded the high technical performance showed by the team and said that these multiple number of medals secured by our swimmers have reflected their compliance with the QSA strategic plan.
