The Qatari Handball Team downed Kuwaiti counterparts 31-26 in the main round of the 2012 Asian Men's Junior Handball Championship on Saturday. On the other hand, Chinese Taipei defeated Uzbekistan 27-19 while Bahrain outclassed United Arab Emirates 40-29. Four matches will be held on Sunday as Kuwait will take on Iran while Korea will clash against Japan. Bahrain will face Hong Kong and Iraq will shake hands with Chinese Taipei. The Championship is being hosted by the Qatar Handball Association until 13 July with the participation of 14 teams. The event is a qualifying tournament to the Men's Junior World Championship 2013 to be held in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
