The auto sportive festival, "Deq Silf," concluded here late on Saturday, with participation of 361 contestants, with high-power, special and modified cars and motorcycles.
In the free-style, Mohammad Al-A'zmi came first, followed by Khaled Al-Hajeri and then Ayyaf Al-Fadhli. In the drift, Nasser Al-Mutairi grabbed the gold medal in the stock category. Khaled Al-Aoun came second and Abdullah Al-Guo'ud third. In modify, Ali Makseed came first, followed by Faisal Al-Shuwaiee and Nasser Al-Mutairi third.
The contest was held, under sponsorship of the Public Authority for Youth and Sports, at circuits of Basel Al-Salem Sports Club, located on the seventh ring road.
Meanwhile, Adel Abbas won the "best car" award in the hydraulic division, Salam Al-Urai'er, took the one for the unique car. In the classic cars contest, Raed Al-Huwaidi earned the top title as owner of the most beautiful car, a Dodge, while Mohammad Abbas came second and Nawaf Al-Sanea third.
In the top beautiful car, GM category, Hussein Al-Shemmari was crowned champion. Second came Mohammad Al-Saffar and third ranked Mohammad Al-Bannaq. In the number-one beautiful classic car, Ali Al-Sherqawi earned the trophy, followed by Abdul Rahman Al-Zuaabi and then Adel Al-Aamri.
As to the most beautiful European cars' contest, Faisal Al-Shuwaiee won the trophy. Mohammad Al-Salman grabbed it for the top beautiful Japanese car.
In the Ford Mustang beauty division, the top winner was Mohammad Al-Mutairi. In the jeeps, the trophy went to Adel Abbas.
The festival also witnessed motorcycles' contests. In MX-1, Mohammad Jaafar was crowned the number-one champion. In ATV, Meshari Al-Mazyad was the top winner. As to the MX-2, the top champion was Muazth Al-Ansari.
