Under the auspices of the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the sixth Ship for World Youth Assembly, hosted by the General Organisation for Youth and Sport (GOYS), will be inaugurated tomorrow, Thursday, at Arad Fort. During the opening ceremony, the National Anthem will be played, Quran verses will be recited and then Shaikh Nasser, the Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain Shigeki Sumi and the Japanese Government's Representative will deliver statements. It will also include a presentation on Bahrain's history, civilization and landmark achievements and an Arda tableau. On the occasion, GOYS President Hesham Mohammed Al Jowdar asserted that Shaikh Nasser's patronage of the event testifies to his constant support for the youth movement in the kingdom and keenness to create suitable conditions for them to acquire expertise and be informed about the successful experiences and development marches of other countries. He also said that the huge number of participating youth delegates reflects the kingdom's prestigious position as a hub of GCC, Arab and world youth functions. He also appreciated the constructive cooperation with Japan.
