The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), has renewed a multi-year agreement to be the Official Bank of the FORMULA 1 ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX.
NBAD has been the Official Bank of this F1 event since the 2009 FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX "Renewing our relationship with the FORMULA 1 ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX confirms NBAD's commitment to Abu Dhabi's strategic objective to be a global hub of commerce, business, and culture," said Alex Thursby, the Group Chief Executive Officer of NBAD. "Hosting a Formula 1 event has helped immensely in raising Abu Dhabi's profile globally." Thursby continued, "Our support for this sporting event aligns to NBAD's strategic objective to be the primary financial institution facilitating increasing trade and investment flows from west of Africa to East Asia, the span that we call the West-East Corridor."
